A one-day conference for owners who want a business worth buying
What is your business
actually worth to a buyer?
Most owners find out on the day they try to sell it.
Doors open in
Planned press distribution
Every one of these comes off your price.
A buyer does not argue about what your business is worth. They hand the diligence list to their lawyer, and the lawyer returns a number lower than yours. Here is where that gap comes from.
- No written agreement between the owners Deal paused
- The brand or the code sits in someone's personal name Held back from the sale
- Your biggest customer's contract does not transfer Revenue discounted
- The lease ends before the buyer's plan does Closing delayed
- Contractors doing the work of employees Money held in escrow
- Books that cannot survive a quality of earnings review Multiple cut
- The business cannot run for a month without you Payout pushed years out
None of it can be fixed once a buyer is already at the table. All of it can be fixed years earlier, which is the entire point of this day.
At an 800-attendee goal, up to 50 introductions each is 40,000 introduction touchpoints, or up to 20,000 unique one-to-one pairings, because every conversation has two people in it.
The buyer's lawyer will find it. You should find it first.
An operating agreement signed years ago. The brand sitting in someone's personal name. A lease that does not transfer. Contracts a customer can walk away from the day you close. None of it matters until somebody makes an offer. Then all of it matters at once, and every item on that list comes out of your price.
This is the day you deal with it while nothing is on the line.
25 speakers, 25 professions, one seat each.
One seat per profession for the whole event. Each expert covers a different piece of the exit, so every session you sit in teaches something the last one did not.

One day that decides what your business is worth.
Ticket rates vary by registration date.
The questions owners actually ask.
If yours is not here, reply to the email you get after signing up and it will reach a person.
I am not planning to sell my business. Is this still for me?
That is exactly who the day is built for. Almost everything that lowers your price takes months or years to fix, and none of it can be fixed once a buyer is already at the table. The owners who get the most out of this are the ones with no sale in sight.
What does a ticket cost?
Ticket rates vary by registration date. Put your email in and you get the current rate before it goes public, along with the full speaker list.
Is this a day of sales pitches?
25 speakers, 25 different professions, one seat each. Every talk teaches its own piece of the exit, and the expert on stage is there to explain the work, not to walk you through a deck about their firm. If you want to talk to any of them afterward, the expo floor is open all day.
I cannot sit at a screen all day. Can I come for part of it?
Yes. The whole schedule is published above so you can pick the tracks that apply to you and skip the rest. Every session runs thirty minutes.
My state's rules are different. Does that matter?
For most of the day, no. Valuation, quality of earnings, what a lender will finance, add-backs, customer concentration and the tax treatment of a sale work the same wherever you are. Where state law does drive the answer, in employment, leases, entity records and estate structure, the session tells you what varies and exactly what to take to your own advisor.
